Community Clean-up
On Tuesday, the whole population of Paris Central School from Kindergarten to Grade 8 did a community clean-up. Students donned rubber gloves and picked up litter around the school yard and the community.
We are working with other Paris schools to try to clear the community of litter. We also took some classes to Lion's Park and cleaned up litter in the park and on the sports fields.
Walk to School Day
At Paris Central we would like to encourage our students to walk to school because it cuts down on our greenhouse gasses from driving or taking a bus. Walking to school also keeps our students fit, healthy and ready to learn.
