How You Can Help
It is our hope that the environmental focus at Paris Central this year will spread to the families, the Paris Central community, and beyond. We are always happy to have involvement from our families in school initiatives. There are a number of ways that you can help out:
Send Litterless Lunches
Although our focus has been recycling, it would be even better if we could reduce the waste that we produce. Litterless lunches help us to cut down on all types of waste, and tend to be more nutritious. See the links below for ideas on packing litterless lunches:
Continue the Conversation at Home
We have started the conservation conversation here at school in the classroom, in assemblies, and through events. Give your child responsibilities for conservation of energy and reduction of waste at home. Use rain barrels, compost and turn out the lights. Try to make your home sustainable. Volunteer at Events
Throughout this school year, we have been, and will continue to hold events at the school that focus on sustainability. We welcome volunteers at these events and are always looking for ideas for projects that we could undertake to make Paris Central a more environmentally conscious place.
